Combining board-certified physicians who specialize in addiction, MBA-level Certified Addiction Therapist/Licensed Professional Counselors, addiction-focused administrators and toxicology specialists, Nashville Suboxone Recovery Clinic is proud to offer the most comprehensive outpatient opioid addiction recovery solution in middle Tennessee.
Nashville Suboxone Recovery Clinic is one of only a handful of state licensed outpatient addiction treatment centers in Middle Tennessee. MAT (Medication-Assisted Therapy) protocols are followed to treat addiction & substance abuse, while also offering dual diagnosis to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, ADD, sleep disorders and more, all thanks to the higher than required education and certifications held by the treatment and medical staff.


Dr. Emmett Wilkerson - Medical Director - ABPM Certified Addiction Specialist
Dr. Wilkerson is one of few ABPM-certified (American Board of Preventive Medicine) addiction specialists in the State of Tennessee. He is also a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
After serving many years in Nashville area emergency rooms, he changed his full-time career path to addiction and continues his education in addiction with passion.
According to our patients, Dr. Wilkerson is one of the friendliest, most compassionate doctors they've ever met, who is always willing to listen and provide solutions.


Dr. Mark Chambers
Dr. Mark Chambers get his M.D. at Ohio State University College of Medicine. He also holds a B.S. in biology from Miami University. In addition to Nashville Recovery Clinic, he also in internal medicine at Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Chambers is scheduled to obtain his certification with the American Board of Addiction Medicine in the Fall of 2022.


Dr. Jamie Slandzicki
Dr. Slandzicki was born in Toledo, Ohio. He moved to middle Tennessee in 1998 to practice family medicine in Franklin, Tennessee. He is CEO of Clinical Trials Center of middle Tennessee, a company that performs pharmaceutical medical clinical trials. He is medical director of an area hospice organization. Dr. Slandzicki also works as medical director for 2 Nashville-area NHC medical centers. Dr. Slandzicki is married, has 3 children and enjoys boating at Center Hill Lake and frequent cycling.


Jacqi Michaels - Director of Operations
Jacqi’s background is communications and entertainment, which is why she’s become the heart and soul of Nashville Recovery. Jacqi is responsible for managing everything clinic related, as well as being the liaison between the patients, doctors and therapists.


Alexandra Mayes - LPC, MHSP - Director of Therapy
Alex brings over ten years clinical experience to Nashville Recovery. She is completing her education to earn her MHSP/LPC license and is passionate about helping people end their opioid addiction and transform their lives.


Ginny Alden - Client Services Director
Ginny provides Nashville Recovery Clinic with administrative organization, keeping us current with TN State addiction rules and regulations, as well as being the frontline to anyone contacting the clinic. Ginny holds B.S. in philosophy, a minor in religious studies, as well as two other college degrees.


Lisa Thabet - LPC
Lisa brings twenty-one years of competent, and compassionate, solution focused oriented counseling experience. She has provided drug and alcohol treatment with the State of Tennessee TCOM while working with the Department of Corrections between 2004-2012. She acted as ILS Care Manager / referral specialist with Omni Community Health services and other social supportive services. Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Austin Peay in State University in 2017, and her master’s in professional counseling in 2020 from Grand Canyon University. She is currently working on a doctorate degree, as well becoming a MHSP.


Kate Germek - Therapist
Kate is a counselor at Nashville Recovery Clinic. She has 20 years of clinical experience working in the field of behavior science and addiction. Kate grew up in Nashville and moved to Florida to attend Florida State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in child and family services. Kate then obtained a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership, along with a certificate for Applied Behavior Analysis. She specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Modification. After 21 years of living in Florida, she came back to her roots moving to Nashville Tennessee. Kate’s biggest passion in life is helping individuals and families to become as successful in life as possible.


Drew Bourke - Owner / Operator
As owner/operator, Drew brings nearly three decades of business management expertise to the Nashville Recovery team. Drew has applied his 22 years of software application development to make Nashville Suboxone Recovery a state of the art opioid addiction treatment center.
Drew understands the challenges opioid addicts face throughout the recovery process. He shares his personal experience, strength & hope, along with recovery-based tools and resources with all Nashville Recovery clients via daily messaging. Drew is a long-standing member and acting sponsor to men in Nashville's group recovery community.
