A Nashville Recovery Patient’s Story of Successful Suboxone Recovery
My name is Andrew, and in late 2013 I was on my 5th narcotic relapse in just 2 months. This, after two weeks at a trusted in-patient treatment facility. I could hardly believe it. Here I was, fresh out of rehab and on the edge of losing everything due to my addiction. My family, my job, my life. Everything was on the line, and nothing seemed to work other than taking pills to relieve my withdrawals, anxiety and depression.

A friend suggested I try Suboxone, and honestly, I had my reservations. When I say Suboxone was my “last choice”, I actually mean it.

I called, went to my appointment, and sat down with a doctor. The very first thing I noticed is that the doctor wasn’t judging me. He understood me, which was quite a surprise. He told me he too had been addicted, and had used Suboxone to help fight his demons. Against my own beliefs, I decided to give Suboxone a try.

Just as the doctor told me to do, I stopped taking my Oxycodone pills and waited until I was just starting to go into withdrawals. I took my first Suboxone film and placed it under my tongue. I started watching TV, and relaxed.

Now, here’s the really weird part – Not only did I start feeling better in less than 30 minutes, but I actually watched 3 episodes of my favorite TV show without even thinking about withdrawals, drugs, pills – Nothing. I totally forgot.

This was the first time in over 10 years I hadn’t thought about taking more pills.

Here’s what actually happened to me just like it happens to so many others:
Once you take Suboxone, your body thinks it’s getting the narcotics it wants and needs. In truth, it’s actually getting an “antagonist” that’s telling your body “you’re okay, relax”. You’re not, your’e calm, happy, relaxed, patient, mindful. No feelings of “being high” or anything like that. You don’t with don’t with draw, don’t crave pills, – Nothing. What really happens is that you return to a normal, relaxed state of well-being. Your symptoms vanish, and life turns back on.

I not only slept excellent that first night, I also woke up the next day with vigor, ready to crush the day. I went to work, made a tons of sales, got home and played with the kids, and had to stop and pinch myself because I was feeling so great.

That was four years ago, and I am still taking Suboxone, and I love it. I’ve never felt better, I’m exercising, I’m healthy, I’m happy, I’m working full-time, business is good, and I’m back feeling better than I have in over 20 years. Suboxone changed my life, and it can do the same for you.

Suboxone should be called the back to life miracle drug, because that’s exactly what it is.

If you’re even thinking about Suboxone as a solution for your addiction, I can promise you with no regrets, Nashville Recovery and Suboxone treatment are the very best decision I have ever made in my entire life. I would recommend it anyone who struggles with addiction, and as a matter of fact, I do recommend it to everyone struggling with addiction.

Sincerely, Andrew
