2018 was an amazing year at Nashville Suboxone Recovery. We saw so many new patients gather the courage to say goodbye to their opioid addiction, and say hello to outpatient recovery with Suboxone and personalized therapy.
Why Suboxone?
Suboxone is an antagonist, telling your brain it’s getting the narcotic medicine it needs to function normally, virtually eliminating withdrawals and cravings.
Suboxone frees the person from suffering the physical symptoms, allowing one on one therapy to be administered.
Why Weekly Therapy?
Nashville Suboxone Recovery offers all monthly-paying patients the opportunity to sit one on one with an addiction therapist not once, not twice, but up to four times monthly, all at no additional cost. Lead therapist Mike Racki LPC-MHSP/NCC specializes in addiction therapy and counseling. Mike’s MBA-level education means patients are talking to someone who is specifically trained to help them transition away from harmful opiates, while helping transform their lives for the better.
Our Owner is In Recovery
Nashville Suboxone Recovery owner/operator Drew Bourke is in recovery himself. “In 2005, I lost my oldest brother to addiction. I watched as he threw away a 25 year marriage, a thriving business, and a beautiful family. I didn’t understand it at the time that addiction is a disease, and he was powerless over this disease. I watched his life crumble, with the worst part being he stopped caring about anything but his pills. After three failed inpatient rehabs, he finally took his own life by taking too many pills. His heart just stopped one night, and no one was there to help him. Oddly, his death accelerated my addiction vs. slowing it down. I hit my bottom in 2013 after 13 years of daily opioid abuse. I was ready to die. Just like my brother, inpatient treatment failed to work for me. I needed a daily solution I could take home with me, something inpatient simply could not do for me. Suboxone, therapy, and group recovery saved my life, and then made my life amazing. I opened Nashville Suboxone Recovery in late 2017 to help others do what has worked for me. I feel we’re making a huge difference to a lot of Middle Tennessee families.”
